Question Tamiya Super stock Motor Type-S.

I bumped into this motor while I was looking for one of those Bit Char-G size Tanks.

It rated for 7.2V-8.4V. 27,850rpm(7.2) removable brushes. What you guys think? Good? or Bad?

BTW...does anyone know where can purchase one of those little tank?

It looks like it can. I may purchase it and give it a tryout.

Has anyone tested a modded 158,000-168,000rpm motor for the Tamiya mini 4wd slot type cars in a Micro? These damn motors make those mini 4wds fly through the track!! Wonder if we can use it.....hmmm

Those Tamiya Mini-4WD 130 sized motors are 3.0 Volt.
They wouldn't last too long.
Even if they were 6.0 Volt [which they are not] I don't quite believe they have the torque required to propel a Micro around at a decent speed.

Yeah. That's what I thought about it too. Just needed to clarify it.
Thanks.

I think I may pick up the Tamiya Super stock Type S motor today.
I hope it runs good.

I doubt it will work. It appears to be a 540 size motor. Take a look at the size of the bullet connectors in relationship to the can
