Belt issues

Questions and (hopefully) some answers:
Are you using the standard chassis?
When I changed from the standard chassis to the Team Orion chassis I noticed more slack on the belt.
How did you install the belt?
When installing the belt, it's better to fit it around the rear pulley gear first while the belt is slack, the next step is to remove the front diff assembly, fit the belt around the front pulley gear then refit the front diff assembly back into the bulkhead.
If you install the belt on the front-diff assembly first, then force the belt over the rear pulley gear by turning the rear axle, this method of installation will cause the belt to stretch
Lastly, a little slack does no harm and it will not affect the performance at all, where a tight belt (that is too tight) will.
As long as the belt is not slipping, you have [b]nothing[/u] to worry about.
