Return of the ninja
Homer,
Remeber the Marui Ninja buggy with its sleek style body? I have plans to build a 1/16 or 1/18 scale version of it but I am looking for somebody who can make the body. Can you do that. Send me an email for details.

Wow...I just finished reading all 22 pages of this topic. Alot of work has gone into this!
Any news for us, Homer?
And finally, a request. Nissan Silvia S15. I want to make the HKS Hyper Silvia Drifter...1/18th scale.
Thanks.

Hi Guys,
I've had a few other life things to take care of, but things will get back on track here shortly.
I'll keep everyone posted on my progress, but I do want to let you know that this evening I was picking up my sons toys when 'lo and behold', I discovered this push toy of his.
A fellow member had posted this particular request awhile back and to be honest, I thought it was a nutty idea.
Well...after looking at it (for about 2 minutes)...it just might become reality....

conceptual photos, drawings, sketches, etc.
then profiles of each view (front, side, top , rear)
scale profiles to the (MRS4, M18 or 18T chassis and modify dimensions for fit and style.
pull out the block of clay, hunker down and start carving, scraping, etc. OR use renshape and cutting tools to shape.
aka industrial design

That's a really good question. Just how do you do it, Homer?

with a (homeRmade) vacuum former, of course.
but several points to note:
- not all formers are created equal
- not all heating systems are created equal
- understand thy properties of polycarb with heat and vacuum
- trial and error is a given
- lastly, failure is not an option when it comes to a hobby - improvise wherever, whenever.

Torredo,
Now why would I want to explain the details of "how-to" on making a vacuum form?
If you're interested in doing this yourself, then may I suggest you "google" your "hearts content" on this subject matter.
There's plenty of information and how-tos.
I'm absolutley positive you're an intelligent, handy-dandy kind-of-guy and will be able to duplicate the process with a twist of your own ingenuity.
I believe in you, man.

If so it would be a 1995 eclipse
