stock micro's come with a 180 size motor, popular upgrades are to go to a 300 size motor.

there is a hybrid kit available to stuff a 540 size motor into the micro, but that's a expensive and difficult task to tackle

and blind does NOT throw in a subtle reference to his website.

the 300 sized motors are probably the most popular. variations include the graupner speed 300, wattage 370, team orion big block. all the same motor at different prices and labels. other popular alternatives:

corless motors: includes team orion elite mod, and peak turbo corless. more power than stock but slower than 300. however, very long runtimes.

all 3 of those are the exact same motor, average runtime is about 10-15 minutes on a 1000mAH 6 cell battery pack

the coreless motors like the elite mod will run for about 45minutes to an hour, depending on how you gear it and how you run the car

blind, is that number the same if you add more cells, i am going to go with the wattage 370 with 7 of your cells, eventually, and if it only lasts ten minuites, i may have to get more packs

the more cells you use, the lower the runtime will be, as a general rule.

I think 7 cells last like 8-12 minutes, but that really depends on what gearing you use, and how you're driving the car
